In our house we normally have two snacks a day. One between breakfast and lunch and one between lunch and supper. I normally try to have one of the snacks be a more healthy option and the other... well you know.
I did write these down in list form in my notebook along with my Breakfast Choices, Lunch Choices, Supper/Dinner Choices , and Side Dish Choices so that if I wanted to add to the list I could. The list currently is very simple.
Snack Choices
- Cheese Stick
- Fruit
- Craisins
- Muffins
- Pretzels
- Animal Crackers (I happen to LOVE the chocolate kind, I know horrible for you but like I said above...you know.) :)
I do have some great healthy snack ebooks that I have purchased and plan to use in the future. Honestly right now, in this season of life, the easier the snack is just to "grab and go" the better.
