We took this week to work again with Heart of Dakota’s, Little Hearts for His Glory for our extras. We continued to work on Christian Light’s Grade 1 Math for Spud, and Lady continued through Counting with Numbers from Rod & Staff. We are waiting to receive All About Reading Level 1 to try so we just reviewed our short vowel CVC words with BOB books and homemade “books”. The kids have been LOVING working on their ABC Handwriting Books especially drawing the picture to go with the letter.
Working on some hands-on Math with LHFHG.
Baby O was busy during school too!
A-Man working with pattern blocks.
Trying to write with a “quill pen” (bottom of a paint brush) like George Washington.
The kids got out their musical instruments for an impromptu concert. So cute!
Baby O can not help himself but to hop in any laundry basket even if it is full of clean clothes. At least this one had a little more room for the big boy.
We added in the picture book, George Washington, from the history we were changing to and I found out that my grand plans for science didn’t quite happen because I don’t have all the books yet for the curriculum, oops! That is the beauty of homeschooling, you can improvise, right??
