I got this recipe from my good friend Holly. She is an amazing cook and I am so happy she shared this with me. This will make 2 thick pizza crusts. When I make it for our family I make the whole recipe and then use half for a pizza crust and half for bread sticks. Yummy!
Holly's Pizza Crust
Makes 2 Thick Crusts
2 Tb yeast
2/3 cup warm water
2 tsp sugar
Sprinkle yeast and sugar over warm water. Let stand about 10 minutes.

2 cups cold water
3 Tb olive oil
2 Tb sugar
2 cloves garlic minced
1 tsp salt
1 Tb Italian seasoning
6 cups flour

In large bowl mix cold water, oil, sugar, garlic, salt, italian seasoning and one cup of flour. Beat until well mixed; add yeast mixture. Add flour one cup at a time until a soft dough forms. Knead on counter until a soft springy dough forms (not dry or stiff). Let rise in a greased bowl covered for 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 450. Pre bake 5-8 minutes.
Add toppings and bake pizza until crust is brown on edges and sounds hollow when tapped. Melt 2 Tb butter & 1/2 tsp garlic salt. Spoon on edges of crust after taken out of oven.
